Sodar installation and operation services are offered for the Model VT-1 sodar system anywhere in the world. Installation of the Model VT-1 can typically be completed in a matter of one day. Thereafter, system fine-tuning and data collection are usually performed remotely via telephone. For long-term operation, periodic site visits are required to ensure that the system is continuing to perform correctly. The installation of a co-located in-situ wind sensor on a 10-m platform (pole or tower) is recommended for data quality control.
