As shown in the graphic above, the user can configure the Model VT-1 to suit their particular needs.  The available user-defined settings include many operational parameters, four data acceptance criteria, several options that govern the output of wind and intensity data, and one option to specify the serial port to be addressed on the Model VT-1 laptop computer.  Additional settings that control signal processing and fine-tune the operation of the laptop computer are available on the Advanced Configuration screen.
